need help with a turning clutch. Its been siting a while. got the left side going . The right side wants to bog the motor. any help would be great. thanks.

Yep....I'd try that first if it appears tight.

Then, it could be the clutch pack is stuck together. You may have to pull it out and clean or replace.

Fortunately, it isn't that hard. Remove the inspection cover on the floor of the seat, (one on each side) and you can look right down on the steering clutch. Ring of bolts around the clutch pack on both sides. Take them out, then pry the caliper ( just like a disc brake caliper ) back some with a big screwdriver, and lift the clutch pack up out of the inspection hole. Disassemble, clean or replace as needed.

It sounds as though the steering brake is engaging, before the steering clutch is fully released. Yup, sounds like some crud not letting the clutch pack do it's thing...
