Buying Advice Mitsubishi BD2F

I have been watching the net for a couple of years now, I am looking at purchasing BD2F LGP tracks with a s/n 12362 from a friend for $5000. Can anyone telll me something about this model and where I can go to find out the year and parts availability?
The undercarriage is 75%. It runs fine and other than a slight bend in one of the 42" track links (which I understand, is common), repack on one of cylinders and a new alternator ($225), I think it will work for me (drive grading, lot leveling and minor landscaping) It has a 10' 6" blade but no hour meter.
Any comments would be appreciated.

I forgot to add the complete s/n which I just got from the owner "BD2F the 12362 number is on a lower line on the tag, there is no hour meter
