Minor surgery

One of the seals in tractor went on l4060 . A 20.00 dollar part. It was leaking when we first got her. Glad she's getting fixed. 104 hrs on it. The only issue with this tractor .

Which seal was it that needed replacement? Had the leakage increased during the hours you put on?

The lower shaft. It was leaking out the pin where the water spouse to come out. The rubber was cracked. I was filling hydro oil in everytime I used it.

To comment on the topic at hand, it is shocking to see how much work a simple $20 gasket can cause. I bet they don't cheap out on that part either, sometimes things just fail.
