Not for me, $344 for the torch and then have to buy a water cooler. Maybe if I did a lot of welding, but not for my limited use.
You can feed mig wire in as a filler using a TIG torch, no problems. Unless you are talking about flux core.
You can even buy a rig set up for it if your not a DIY type.

I could probably fab up some kind of water cooler, seen a few on Utube. Now I am trying to figure out how to make a wire feeder to go on a standard tig torch. I am pretty sure some of the stand alone wire feeder attachments for bigger welders are voltage senseing. might could use something like that, but those old Ln25's cost more than the $344 tig torch.
