Not so sure… same said for sub $2 a gallon gas in California or fixed home mortgage rates in the 2 percent range…

We had gasoline in June 2020 for $1.18/gallon. Of course this was at the high point of covid shutdown when nobody was driving and oil was $40/barrel. Local oilfields mostly shut down drilling because it wasn’t profitable.

Salaries must be enormous in CA to afford cost of living. Regular is $3.28 near me today.
