I know it's not really mowing season, but does anyone know if the new 30-Series finish mowers are available? I'm interested to know what people think about them and would also like some pricing information. I emailed Jim at Midwest several weeks ago with no response.

Thanks!

I can tell you're not from the south /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. We're still mowing here at least once a week /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. Then we could probably mow all year long if so inclined /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif. I'm also interested in Midwest mowers, I need to replace mine by the end of the season here.

If I'm not mistaken (I very well may be but,,,,) the Midwest units are the same as the Kioti. My friend got a 7ft rear discharge Kioti which really cuts like champ behind his 52 Farmall Super C (row crop front end) Midwest's price is about the same as he paid with delivery to his place. I would recommend them highly! PS. My friend has the one with the solid tires (Don't need to keep pumping them up as air seeps out). BobG in VA

Hi Bob--We are a Kioti dealer and as of a couple weeks ago, The Kioti Finish Mowers that we ordered and received, were coming from the Sicma factory (Same as the GM 30 series First Choice Mowers that we stock)--If there has been a change? I am sure someone will correct me.--Ken Sweet

Ken, My appologies. I was looking at the GM35-84S that Corriher sells. I got my Midwest BB from them and made an assumption that Midwest may be supplying the mowers as well. Anyway, I'm not sure that Midwest could outdo the Sicma/Kioti/(Blue/Green or any other color) mower. On a similar note, a number of folks thought the Super C would not have enough HP to pull the 84 inch mower. How wrong they were--1/2 throttle in 2nd gear and it cuts beautifully. Seems a large difference in "old" HP/torque numbers compared to todays CUTS. Again my appologies. BobG in VA

No appoligies needed--You are sure right about the old tractors--I have a Farmall "M" with P/S that handles a 10 ft wheel disc and 10 ft brush hog just fine--This tractor is just up 2 sizes from yours---Ken Sweet

I have seen one the prototype Midwest Finish mowers, and we have some on order for delivery in March. Not 100% sure but I don't think there are any out for resale yet.
We are pricing the 6' unit at $1550.00

Once again - reviving this thread.

Anybody have a Midwest Finish Mower yet? I am beginning to investigate 84" finish mowers and wanted to know whether to add it to the list of possibilities.
