Mid PTO cover

The rear PTO has a cover, but mine doesn't have one the mid-PTO. Is there one?? Like to have a cover of some type to protect it when not using the MMM. Its a PITA to line up new, bet couple of hours of dust will make it even harder to line up & slide on.

I asked my dealer about a mid PTO cover and he told me that Kobota does not make one. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I asked the same question last year when I got my tractor.

Best answer seemed to be to cover it with grease and wipe it off when you want to use it. I just leave mine covered with some grease as I don't have anything to hook to it...

My Dad has a Yanmar without PTO cover so he took a piece of black plastic pipe, cut, and melted piece of plastic across one end. Slide on and off of PTO great.
