Mid-Mount Mower Mid mount mower attachment compatiblity

A very basic kind of question. Do mid mount mowers for sub compact tractors have a standard attachment mechanism? I see on the Woods web site a L59 finish mower which indicates they might be compatible. For a given tractor could I expect to be able to shop around for an alternative mid mount mower than the manufacturers? I was looking at a TYM tractor today and it was a beauty but quite expensive for the mid mount mower.

I'm no expert by any streatch of the imagination but since nobody else has replied I'll share what I know. I've researched mid-mounts for my Mahindra 2615 HST and it has become apparent to me that mid-mount mowers are made specifically for specific tractors. You may be able to find an alternative for your tractor, but be sure it was desiged for it and play close attention to how it attaches compared to the OEM. It's also very possible WOODS makes the mower for the tractor manufacturer.
