Hi Howard,
Thought you might enjoy these pictures. I took two pictures, one cutting the gear blanks on the Coleman Barber hobbing machine, and the other of the finished gears after the lathe work. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

OK,
One more of the finished gears. The tooth profile appears to be very close using the 48 pitch hob. You will need to use a single edged razor blade to do just a bit of deburr work on the teeth, but they are very light!
