where do I check shuttle transmission level and where is the fill plug?

If your 50a is similar to the 50c, transmission fluid filler cap for the shuttle model is located in between the gear shifter and the forward-reverse shifter. You will need a large wrench to remove the cap. The dipstick for my 50c is located and nicely hidden below the seat on the right next to the response control. Hope this helps
