the loader was leaking a little around the tilt cylinders. so we changed the seals and filter on the system. put some hyd fluid in and started it up. no up and down or tilt on the loader. this is odd because it was working before, except leaking. I have not done a lot of seal changes on cylinders, but it is pretty straight forward. not really familiar with this model but I do have a ford 1900 and a Kubota b8200. I have done the ford cylinders without a problem. I think I am missing something. any ideas would be appreciated.

You probably still have some air in the lines.

Cycle the cyl to full extend and retract about 10 times , or more.

well that's what I thought, so I let the motor run and kept working the valve. one of the up and down cylinders moves about an inch and as soon as nit hits resistance it stops. so I would do what you said but the cylinders wont extend. none of them.

Do you have any QD's on the hoses?

If so, reset them.

no qd's but I am beginning to think there is a leak somewhere. I read where the rubber hose that connects the 2 pipes in the suction line, can suck air but not leak fluid. the one on this tractor looks like it could do that. I need a flow diagram I guess.

well I disconnected the tilt cylinders at the bucket and they go in and nout but there is no pressure because I can hold them in. I let go and they go in and out. next step is with a pressure gauge , when I get one.
