MF 5465 no start

Starts only on ether, whether it is warm or cold, even at 75 ambient air temperature. Has new injectors, new supply and injection pump. Fresh overhaul, had low compression. Replaced crankshaft sensor, repaired faulty wire for the sensor to the ECM. Cranking speed is excellent. Once running, runs like a champ. Dealer ran a diagnostic test, but can't bring up but 1/3 of needed scans.

Pull your injector lines and verify your pump is running properly.

You said it was overhauled for low compression, maybe the injector pump is on the wrong cam position and is timed wrong for low rpm.

If the dealer can't communicate properly whit the systems on the tractor why don't they diagnose that fault?

Using ether to start a tractor is not the best way to go. It has a much lower flash point than diesel and its use can potentially damage an engine. If the dealer can't diagnose the problem perhaps a real diesel mechanic can.

I suspect it is out of time. Ether is a diesel engine killer. Good advice to have a real mechanic check it.
