MF 165

A friend of mine has a 165 and the 3point lift arms will not operate up/down. Several years ago I purchased a TO20 with the same problem. I dropped the pump and replaced the relief valve. Could this be the same problem? Any help would be great!!

Could be, probably not though. Best to get a manual and do some tests. Same idea as your older tractor but a little more in depth. Some troubleshooting would give a better idea. Do the arms shutter at all? There is a round cover on the right side, if you drain a little fluid & open it you can manually run the pump so kinda test it. That will give you some direction if it's pump, lift cylinder or something else.
