MF 165 perkins 4-203 engine cooling question

I have replaced water pump and hoses on my MF 165. There are 2 bottom hoses and a metal pipe that go between the pump and the bottom of the radiator. The metal pipe is badly corroded and needs to be replaced. I can't find a replacement pipe and am wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Maybe there is an alternate hose that would do the job. Any advice would be appreciated.

Have you asked a MF dealer? MF has an excellent parts policy on older tractors, quite cheap too in my part of the world.

John, if you have no luck with the dealer, try a Bepco or a Sparex agent. You'll be surprised what they have - albeit usually in non-genuine parts, but I've had no problems with everything I've bought from our Bepco agent here in Brisbane. :thumbsup:
Alternatively, maybe an exhaust shop can bend up a replacement from stainless steel pipe. Bear in mind, I have no idea what the pipe looks like!

Thanks for the replies. I've checked out the local MF dealers and had no problem getting a new water pump and hose kit but no help with the pipe. They say that they often get requests for this pipe but don't know what people do to solve the problem. They have also suggested going to an exhaust shop. Will check with Bepco and Sparex.
