I bought a used Regent fire pump made in Australia and it has a Kubota GS200 engine.
Seems to be working well after a little tlc but the seal is leaking behind the pump.
I have the front removed and can't get the impeller off.
It has no bolt in the front and I am guessing it is held on by a right hand thread.
The shaft turns anti-clockwise so I am turning impeller anti-clock.
Can't find any detail online. Have contacted manufacturer a week ago for a price and still waiting to hear back.
I have tried soaking in WD40, some heat on the impeller as it is Aluminium on a steel shaft, a bit of shock with an Aluminium punch,
and locking the impeller and trying to turn crank. I am worried the impeller is going to break.

Any ideas?

if the shaft turn clockwise, then it has to be a left hand thread so the impeller don't spin off.. turn the impeller clockwise to get it off, most pumps have a left hand thread on the impeller and shaft anyway..

I just realised I typed that wrong so will edit.
Shaft turns anti clock.
I did also try going the other way as well.
Have emailed manufacturer but who knows when they will answer.

aluminum on a steel shaft tends to corrode so badly, that it's like they get welded together.. anti-seize compound can prevent that, but it's not always used, since manufacturers like selling repair parts!..
