Me too! B7800 on the way.

Been watching the forums for awhile. Finally purchased my first tractor. Went with a new B7800 with the 402 loader and a Woods 60" boxscraper, and block heater for 16,250.00. Dealer is out of stock but has located one and should have it next week. Could have bought a 24hp JD (4115 I believe was the model) for about the same price minus the boxscraper.

/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gifSomehow I became instantly brand loyal and balked when the dealer wanted to put a Woods loader on because he was also out of the LA402 loader. I said if he did that it covered up the Kubota logo so I would wait for the LA402. I hope this early brand loyalty thing will prove to be justified by years of trouble free playing...er, I mean working.

In my opinion, you were smart to insist on the Kubota loader. You'll have a nice rig.

Congrats, Sandcrab, I too am an new owner of a B7800, but have not taken delivery yet (next week for sure, backhoe or not). Some believe after market attachments or non-brand attachments are as good or better than brand, and this may be true in many cases, but I think keeping with a brand FEL helps retain some resale value in the long run. My dealer did something opposite of your dealer when it came time for me to decide on a backhoe. He recommended that I put on the Kubota BL4690A (which he did not have in stock) instead of the BushHog model (which he did have in stock), because he said it fit and matched up just a little bit better. Both were the same price.
