Not something my M's ever had on them from new. They do emit a shrill whistle but that is it.
ROPS on my D3 saved my life and had a witness.
Heading back in after grooming the fire breaks and then boom… who turned out the lights in a sea of greenery.
A high bank large Bay Tree toppled and hit the rear corner off the ROPS… no work was done around or anywhere near the tree.
Tree was so large I couldn’t budge the dozer and had to chainsaw my way out…
Luck was with me as the tree happened to hit at the absolute strongest spot on the ROPS
I recognize this snippet from a Czech tractor competition video I watched a few days earlier. It seems to be a time trial around an obstacle course. This snippet is from the part of the course where you are making a tight turn to circle a tree, and the lane is pretty tight. So you go in too fast, steer to the stops and wish for grip at the front and slip at the rear. Oh, it's muddy so the tires do the opposite and you either don't make the turn or, as demonstrated, the rears find some grip and "pull the rug" from under the tractor.Whoever posted the video didn’t want people to see what caused the tip over, and purposely cropped the video so you couldn’t see. It was obviously something physically moving lifting it upwards, then letting it back down. With the tractor stationary on its side, it wouldn’t then upright itself.
I like the big red arrow pointing at the driver.. because you might not notice him otherwise
