Maximum load for three point hitch

I have a 2006 B2630 kubota. I have a cat 1 - 3 point hitch. I want to make a couple of attachments to connect to my 3 point hitch , plans on making a box to attach to it for getting ie. wood and moving things , also making an attachment for hitch so I can haul a small trailor forcattying rocks and gravel. What is the maximum load I can connect to my 3 point hitch.

What does your manual say?

I dont think tractor data's specs are accurate as it says 2,139# at the ends and 1,676# at 24" back. Which is more than the Economy L series tractors can lift (which them tractors also weigh 900# more and have alot larger axles.

And unless you have front weights or a loader.....you wont come anywhere close to the max without popping a wheelie.

What does your operator manual say. Don't have an op manual - get a copy from your local Kubota dealer. It has a wealth of good information.

Tractor Data www has listings for most tractors. Numbers are specified as to where the measurements are made....usually at the pins with OEM lift arms or a specified 6" or 2' behind the pins. If you do after market lift arms that are longer than OEM then the number is reduced due to the length....foot-lbs thing.

Usually your tractor front end will come off the ground before the 3 pt runs out of whoopie. So, in making your determination you have to factor in how you are going to load the front. If you have a FEL and a bucket it's easy as you just fill the bucked with enough dirt or rocks till it stays on the ground and is safe.
