mikesdad... i read your complete story of what you went thru. being an engineer and having a good grasp on electronics, i have ordered my manual. Looking at what you did, I an about to follow the same logic. I have a Max 28XL, that as I was doing some earth moving, it up an quit. No indications on the dash. Completely dead. Flashers work. Good that I was not on the side of a road. None the less, I have a VOM and have checked all the fuses, battery checks Ok, (recently replaced). I guess I will start with the ignition switch and see what under the dash. I do park it outside near my garage, but would not expect mice, being we have traps everywhere. More to follow... I have a separate thread started under MAX 28XL will not start, dead.
