MASSIMO UTV

Both Kawasaki Mule Pro FX and the JD Gators use Chinese engines in their gas powered machines (Chery) and have heard no complaints about them so don't think it would be a big deal for the Cub Cadet to have a reputable Chinese motor in their machines.

I have a Mule Pro (for several years now) - have to say the motor is great, still runs smooth as a clock and never had the slightest problem with it. I was a little concerned originally about it being from China but have to say I was wrong and and impressed with it.

I agree with you. I have no issues with my Chinese motor so far as I service the machine regularly as suggested in the owners manual. I remember years ago when the Japanese products came into North America people where bashing them but they are now the best, reliable machines built. So give the Chinese machines a chance too. Hisun engines are popular all over the world especially in Asia where they are known to be the best in recreational and marine products.

" Lot of Massimo bashers out there that don't know what the **** they are talking about"

I agree, I have an MSU 700 from Tractor Supply coming up on 1 year old, and it is one awesome machine. I ordered the 66 inch Denali snow plow, and this is one snow moving hog!! We are in northern Wisconsin, and we get real snow up here. Also ordered the cab enclosure, a must here at 25 below and if there is any wind.

My machine runs flawlessly, starts with no complaint at 0 degrees, with a good 10 minute warm up it gets the job done.

As others have stated, it is loud, easily corrected, there is an add on, custom made second muffler available, pricey at 215 bucks, but takes the cackle out of the exhaust noise. Not bad when you saved about 4 grand up front.

To others, bash it all you want, I am very satisfied with mine.

Your Massino looks like the older Cub Cadet Challenger and I know a few people that own them and have no issues with them at all. There will always be bashers no matter what brand you buy.
Show us pics of your ride with pride.

I picked up my UTV this summer, it's either a Massimo or a Bennche depending on where you look,
they are the same. Then it also seems that Hisun is the actual manufacturer of most of the parts.
I got a Bennche Warrior 800 it is fairly quick with good pulling power.
Front and rear electric diff locks plus a lot more, mine is also quite heavy but rides and handles good
in rough pastures and feed lots, yet will run down the road at 45 easily if I want to.

Solid looking machine - sort of Humvee like in styling. I noticed we have a small dealer fairly nearby that is starting to carry them. Hopefully the brand will get some traction (no pun intended) and give people other options.

Bennche is a US brand that basically sells rebranded versions of the Massimo UTVs. As I understand it Massimo was a separate manufacturer, but was bought out in recent years by Hisun. The transmissions used to be a really weak point in some of the UTVs, but Hisun mostly uses the Canadian built CVtech transmissions these days (as does CFMoto). They are better machines than the used to be, although resale value is still a cliff and the price point is no longer as competitive as it used to be. The engines on some models are also down a bit on power compared to the mainstream players. A Polaris 570 has more horsepower than a T-Boss 750, for example.
