Massey Ferguson 65

Hi everyone, I am going to sell my old massey 65. Im not looking to sell it over the internet, i was just looking for some more opinions on what it might be worth. It was made in 1965, it is a c code so its the high clearence model with the continental 4 cylinder, and it has the optional hydraulic outlet.Now my father stopped by and said he thought it was only worth $1500, I think its worth more being that it has 3000 hours on it with origional paint and very legible decals. However it does have carberator issues and it smokes a bit (the last owner ran unleaded gas through it) and the back rims are rusty cause they are loaded. I have been wrong before but I thought it would be worth more arond 2500, any thoughts.

I live in SE. WI. and saw 1 sell last year at auction for $1850.And everyone has marvel schebler issues unless they run everyday.Good luck!

Not sure on the value of it, but I'd list it up like your gut says ans add obo. Worst that can happen is some one offer what your dad thinks its worth. And will make the buyer think he was able to make a deal. Personally I stay away from gas tractors, rather have a diesel.
