Hi All,

I am new to the forum. I have a vexing problem with my MF 6180. After working the tractor for about 20 minutes, the (Transmission oil filter warning light and lubricating pressure warning filter warning light) comes on. I am not certain what to do about this. I have changed the filters, and took it to the dealer, and they put a new hydraulic pump in it (i just bought the tractor and the dealership did this on their own dime, which I found to be great service). However, when driving it home, the light came on after about 30 minutes of driving. ---- Other notes: The tractor is stuck in 4WD - and the dealership also changed the seals on th 4WD mechanism when they replaced the Hydraulic pump.

I am not sure if I have a sensor problem or a Hydraulic fluid flow problem or what the deal might be. Seems to be worse after warming up, however. The light comes on much more quickly if I have recently used the tractor and just turned it back on versus sitting overnight and starting work.

Thanks ahead of time for any thoughts.

Hi,
Did you solve your problem with your 6180? I have the same issue here with my tractor.

G'day the first thing to do is change the hyd filters you have 1 or 2 suction filters and a high press filter in a steel canister there is two different versions of those too you will have to remove it and check the length.
