Just under 150 hours on this machine almost all pulling a 12 foot bush hog in light mowing. It’s been back to the dealer several times, mostly for an A/C issue but now it’s losing power but only after 30 minutes of use. I thought it was heat related even though the gauge and light are good.

I pulled the thermostat, cleaned everything, treated the fuel, changed the fuel filter 3 times since it might catch any gunk and it just won’t run right.

The power drops so much that it can barely move even without the mower running.

Any tips for this frustrated owner to try since my dealer doesn’t return calls.

Well ... It basically needs three things to run, fuel, air, compression ... You seemed to rule out what I would have checked first, the fuel filter, but could there be another one in there? Or some blockage in the tank?

Air filter is next step I'd take, but really it shouldn't effect it after it runs a bit, either it's clogged or not ...

Mostly the same with compression ... Though if it gets hot it "could" be effected ... But in regards to compression ... That exhausted fuel/air has to go somewhere ... How have your regen's gone? Is it possible the emissions Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) is clogged up?

Did you check the fuel cap vent to see if its plugged.

I sure hope "my dealer doesn't return my phone calls" is some kind of figure of speech meaning you do not get along well. Other wise that is absurd. The order of contact is Dealer > Regional Service Rep> AGCO Compliant Dept. With 150 hours I assume you bought it new? For heavens sake demand service and assist with solving this issue, do not accept NO for an answer and run it further up the chain as necessary.

What part of the country are you in? Within WVa, Maryland and PA I have never seen that kind of behavior from a dealer in 40 years and multiple brands -- Deere and MF.

BY the way: I am too lazy to chase/find the thread but there has been a guy on here for many months reporting a similar issue (not the dealer, the symptoms of losing power after using it around half hour to 45 minutes.) From his LONG thread and large number of discussions I think he has gone a bit further with investigations than you have but his tractor is not nearly as low hours as yours. The last I heard/recall some were blaming injectors for his problem and his dealer was baffled unable to solve it. In both cases -- his and yours -- the Regional Service Rep needs to be deeply involved until the issue is solved.

I did a lap around the field with the fuel cap removed to try the simple items first. I'll check if there is another fuel filter, and I'll push even harder on the dealer since i'm almost at the 5 year mark with the tractor. I also pulled and cleaned the air filter which was already clean. Could ejectors be an issue that creeps up after 30 minutes because I can hear the engine running with a tick but only after the 30 minute mark. It's regened twice since I bought it new.
