About 10 months ago I bought a 1986 1040 4x4. Great little tractor and am very happy with it. When I got it I changed all fluids and filters. Just rescently I noticed the left front reduction seems to be leaking a little from the top swivel joint. I have not bought trhe service manual for this machine yet, just the owners manual. Was wondering if there is some type of seal that needs to be replaced? Has anyone encountered this. Would be happy to hear from other 1040 owners.
