Price Check Massey 240 - Price?

I am a newbie to tractor buying. I have driven quite a few over the years but never owned one. What would be an acceptable price on a 1987 MF model 240. I plan to go look at it this weekend, so I am not sure what shape its in? The seller is asking $7000 which seems a little high, but again, I'm not sure.

Any help would be appreciated!
