Massey 135 Diesel

Trying to bring back to life an old but favorite tractor. Trying to remember-- the fill cap located on the top of the transmission housing; is that for transmission only and if so, what type of fluid and how much--or is it for the transmission AND the hydraulics which would use standard hydro fluid. If not, then where is the hydro fluid fill cap? I would be great if I could find the owners manual but i misplaced it 25 years ago.

Fill cap is for both transmission and hydraulic system, about 8 gallons to fill after both drain plugs are replaced after draining. Welcome aboard!

The fill cap is located on top of the transmission, just below and to the left of the gear shift lever, and is for the transmission and hydraulics. According to my original factory owners manual for the Massey 135 tractor, the transmission holds 8 U.S. gallons of standard hydraulic fluid.
