We used to mix gas, water, oil and kerosene run the engi;ne
wide open and pour in the carb but not kill the engine and it
would run like a top no problems after that treatment

My neighbor bought a Deere B and it wouldn't run right. He tried everything including MMM, which he said always worked. This time it didn't so as a last effort he tried some of my Kroil oil in the cylinder and left both it for two weeks while other work was being done.

When he started it up, it ran fine and compression was all good. It might have been the MMM and Kroil together loosened the rings up or it may have just been the Kroil but it worked. It's hard to believe you can loosen things up and get gunk out with these products.

I look at this stuff as a last ditch effort to use in your engine oil, down the carb or in the fuel tank. I wouldn’t use it in fuel or oil on a regular basis. When people say “I’ve used for years and my car keeps running” doesn’t mean a thing. Maybe it would have done better without it.

Man-0-man you got that right. Downy fabric softener works on everything as well! :ROFLMAO:

I always remember an ad where they got the latest oil additive. It clings to everything. They opened an engine crankcase. Started it up and ran it while squirting water on the lower end from a fire hose. Of course water is a lubricant and it would cool it so it had nothing to do with the additive.

Unfortunately I never checked my air compressor oil level (ever).
Came to my attention when the circuit breaker kept tripping. Discovered the compressor part seized. Friend recommended dumping Marvel Mystery Oil in the top air port on top of the piston. Over several days I was able to turn the wheel that is driven by the electric motor by hand. Within 10 days it was spinning freely. Added the compressor oil and replaced the belt. Running like new.

Well I've used MMO, Kroil Oil, ATF sparingly several times thru the yrs on/in different things. Sparingly because of the cost. I'd like to use it more constantly but the time to measure MMO for a fuel fill-up on my older daily driver trucks I really don't have added to the extreme cost.
Qt of MMO is bout double what it was 2 yr ago, runs good in fuel & some in oil....maybe?
ATF in fuel helps & is good & helps.....fuel not what it was several yrs ago.....how come??? Hi $ low quality road fuel plus some additive equals bout $20-$30-$40 per gal for fuel!! hahaha
So all in all I keep MMO, Kroil Oil, Seafoam around to use, but not daily. :):(

Only thing that goes in my crankcases besides Rotella T6 is Nano Borate and it's not cheap but it's a superior internal engine cleaner.

What is Nano Borate? New one on me. You run it all time or short time then dump it?
I got couple Ford '90 IDI engine work trucks as well as a '14 Chev Silverado 6.6 Duramax.
