You might be in for a long wait with those folks. I finally cancelled my order after five weeks, bought from United Steel Works that sells on ebay and it is a good toothbar.

What's up with Markham's long lead time? They shipped to me within a few days all the way up to MI. That was almost 2 years ago. I wonder why it is taking them longer now? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Hi Doc Bob

You might also want to try Berlon Industries as a WI local manufacturer. They are located in Hustisford, and make lots of neat attachments.

Sent Markham a check for a toothbar last week. Some of the problem is getting enough teeth to fill demand, they fill orders until they run out of teeth then they have to wait for more.

I can wait on them! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I waited 7 weeks for Markham and finally cancelled my order. Got my tooth bar from United Steel Works also. Very tough toothbar.

Guys

I think what is happening with Markham happens to a lot of small businesses who do good work. They suddenly get noticed and then get more business than they can easily handle.

They have gotten a lot of good reviews here on TBN which they deserve and therefore have gotten more business. If they are having to import the teeth then there are long lead times involved.

If their delivery time is longer than you can accept then buy from some one else but don't "bad mouth" them

I prefer dealing with small companies that have time to talk to me and work out any problems.

Thanks for letting me rant a bit
