Grapple Markham LD 60" Grapple arrived - PICS

I received my 60" grapple from Markham today, I spoke with Melissa on Thursday and asked if the grapple arm could be made a bit wider and the teeth serrated, she said "No Problem" received the grapple a week later! for $855 including shipping you will have a hard time beating this deal, now I need to get a 3rd function kit installed so I can actually start using it.

I like how Markham used the stealth hydraulic hoses on their machine.
I have my 48" with extra tines coming next week. Melissa said it could have been sent this week, but since I was not going to be home I figured I would wait till I can actually pick it up. I'm hoping to have it next Friday afternoon. Melissa said it would be shipped Monday and be here Wednesday.

Nice looking grapples.. Now we are waiting to see some action shots.

What size tractor do you have? I'm looking for a grapple for me L3940 but am concerned about too heavy a grapple that would take away from my "grappling" power and lift.

I've got an 07 Kubota L3240 HST with the LA724 Loader and the 72" heavy duty round back bucket with the cutting edge, the grapple is lighter than the bucket and I've never had any trouble lifting anything I wanted with that.

Do I understand that you extended the upper jaw so that it lands outside the front pipe?
I started to email with Markham to duplicate your order but am curious about that part of your changes.
I plan to move a large pile of rotting trees that my logger failed to chip for us. I am thinking I need the jaws to close as much as possible to grab that rotting mess. However, I was not clear on what you did so hoped to hear your thoughts..

They just widened the hinged part of the grapple, it is now 30' wide, not sure of the width on the one that was pictured a couple weeks ago but looks to be about 18".
