Hi, I'm Mike.
I was brought up on little Fergies but now involved in market Garden/veg growing for local sale (box scheme) in North West Wales, on ground better suited to sheep (with webbed feet).
We started in veg almost by mistake, initially for our own use and a bit of farm-gate trade but it grew out of all proportion. The phone rings with new enquiries most days.
We are still reliant on walk-behind rotovators, a tracked dumper and an inordinate amount of human grunt which is just getting too painful and so need to mechanise further. Our fields are all sloping, small and too awkward and often too wet for most average tractors of today. This has led us into further delay in trying to make a choice of suitable machines.:confused2:
I tripped over this site when googling for a "compact crawler," and it seems that there is a thread here on the subject; so I'm off to find it.
