Those of you that got a mmm 72" did it come with a seperate manual or was the information in the tractor manual with the tractor?

separate manual. Mostly useless, but if you have a specific question I'll look it up for you.

Gator blades for the 72mmm will be out next year per oregon, btw

I am going to have to take it off the tractor and don't know how. What are the steps? Can I back off once all the pins and pto are disconnected?

Glad to hear about the gator blades. Hopefully they will chop up the grass more almost like mulching the grass.

That's my hope on the gator blades

Yep, you can drive off of the 72 deck. Supposed to put the wheels all the way up and chock them. I just do it on dirt, and don't worry - the wheels sink down.

Subway if you have a FEL it is easier to lift the tractor and slide the mower out. This works well on concrete, if grass I would just drive over.

Does your 72" deck have any plates or guides or anything that you're supposed to drive the front wheels over? Or does it just look like a plain old deck on top? Mine doesn't have anything special as far as I can tell -- and also there's about a 2.5" square edge on the top of the deck that the wheels would have to ride up and over, and I don't want to bend or crush that corner.

The reason I ask is that my dealer told me he didn't think I can drive over my 72" deck (RC72-30B). He just told me to pop the front end up with the loader. I don't know, maybe he sold me an old one he'd had in stock for a long time? Are there different versions of the RC72-30B deck?

Thanks,
Lindy

Huh. I think mines an RCK 72? I'll check, might have that wrong.
Thanks for checking on that. According to kubota.com, the 60" model is the RCK60-30B, and the 72" model is the RC72-30B.

I'm just wondering if there are different versions or "revs" of those mowers out there since mine does not appear to have any special "drive-over plates" or anything at all that indicates it's safe to drive over that deck. I have seen reference to it in the manual, though.

It's strange. I used to have the 60" RCK60-30B, and the manual for that mower also had instructions for the RC72-30B. But my dealer wanted that manual back when I traded in the 60" for the 72" RC72-30B. And, indeed, the manuals were different. When he gave me the manual for my 72" deck, it appeared to be an earlier version of the manual than I'd had with my 60" deck.

It all makes me wonder if there have been versions of the 72" deck that ARE drive-over, and earlier versions of the 72" deck that AREN'T drive-over.

checked - mine is the RC72-30b. No obvious pathway to drive over - in fact, I go over some covers that look pretty flimsy. But they've held up so far...

No ramp either. I didnt check the corner you referred to, but I'm sure its there.
