Trapped or Crushed? It makes a difference. If one is alive but trapped, then it could be a long slow, and perhaps painful death. A cell phone might help.

I "know somebody" who uses their bucket to move the tractor back and forth while hooking up implements. The bucket does hold the tractor in place, and I he always takes them off on level ground.

??? I have two tractors. Neither has an "emergency brake". If you get off the tractor you put the transmission in the Park position - no provision for any brake to be on when parked.

After I position the tractor lift arms to the implement, I turn off the machine and set the parking brake while attaching the implement. If you position the lift arm an inch or so below the implement pins, you can lift the arms manually and slip them onto the pins, especially if the lift arms are telescoping.

I've always had a, more or less, memorable experience with implement change over. Never had the tractor move when doing any exchange. It takes longer - but, never done an exchange with the tractor running.

Maybe not technically an emergency brake, but my brakes have a locking lever. Also always put my bucket and/or 3pt implement down when I get off the tractor.
