"self leveling FEL" - does that mean it looses pressure over time and lowers itself to the ground? Speaking of the FEL - just where does the power from the FEL come from?

There's a niche for everything, including the SS and Suburban Sears tractors and things. I want to say (but not certain) that this is one of the manual-lift 3pt hitch tractors.
