Maintenance light will not go out

Hello all I just got finished with the 200 hr service and tried to reset the maintenance light on my L4630GSTC with no success. I have reset it before on prior maintenance work. I have called the dealer and he had no explaination, anyone else have this problem?

My recollection is that there is a tricky sequence that is described in the manual, which I'm sure you are following. I've used it and works for me. If you are using the proper sequence, perhaps there is a timing thing. Try running thru the sequence either faster or slower... maybe it'll work. Last idea... disconnect the battery and reconnect it.... sometimes computers need to be "reset". Hope you figure it out!

Usually it is a bad ground somewhere, or perhaps a loose fuse....

I did attach a fused cable to the battery to get a 12 volts outlet to the back of tractor to run a top dresser, I did this sometime between 150 hrs and 200 hours I wonder how this may have impacted the issue?

Check your manual for the location of all the electrical grounds, there should be 3 or 4 of them. Loosen them and rub them with sandpaper and then reattach. Also, remove and reinstall the fuses in the fusebox just in case one has come loose too.
