"Main Index" Button at the Bottom

\"Main Index\" Button at the Bottom

Could these buttons, Main Index | Archive | Search | Edit Profile | Send Private | Check Private | Who's Online | Instructions | FAQ | Logout , be put at the bottom of a thread. Many times when I am at the bottom of a thread I would like to go to the Main Index? If these buttons were at the bottom of the thread or some of them availabe as a "Jump" it would save a lot of scrolling.
Also, could you fix it where the cursor automatically goes to the "User Name" box on the login screen?
