The horn that goes off when you turn the key on to tell you it is time to service went off. I did my normal trick of putting a fuse in the empty fuse panel to make it think it had been serviced. The horn is still blasting. All oil levels are fine and I get the green healthy light. I was mowing in the rain when the alarm went off, but cant figure out the problem. Also I dont know if it is related but when I checked the hydraulic fuel level the dipstick was very hot and the fluid level was correct.

Jim,
Is it the service reminder light and horn, or could it be your PTO engage/disengage buzzer? How many hours are on your 7520? Sometimes the service reminder horn can come on again shortly after reset. On the hot fluid, I would imagine you were running high RPMs when you were mowing. How long were you mowing?
I am thinking something got a little damp that something didn't like and set your horn off OR your PTO levers are not in the right configuration. Let it all dry out and try it again.
Here is a link to another thread where I posted photos and instructions on how to reset the horn and service light.

Your 7520 is almost identical to my 6520.

only about 300 hours on the tractor. I wasn't running high rpms but the grass was a little thicker than normal and I am pulling a 15' batwing. I Just dont remember the fluid getting so hot in the past under the same circumstances..

The horn isnt pto engage related. When it first started to go off it was on a while then flickered off. then on then off. When I let it set overnight it did not come on until the engine ran for a few minutes. Now it comes on when I Just turn the key to the on position. It almost seems like a short?

any more ideas would be helpful. Its a long way to my dealer..

I would reset the service reminder again. If it still comes on, I would defer it to someone here who deals with it more often, like a dealer or ask your dealer's mechanic his opinion.
