If I'm not mistaken the manual in the CK2510 is not a shuttle shift, meaning you will have to actually select the reverse gear (like the standard transmission in a car), I have the Max shuttle shift, and I do allot of Grapple and Loader work, love the thing. But I understand why the majority prefer HST.
If I have to decide between a 2 range HST and a 8x8 Shuttle, I'll go with the Shuttle.

I can be extra precise using the Low range and 1st or 2nd gear.

You will also feel the difference in power between the shuttle and HST, specially in low HP machines.

Try both and get to your own conclusions.

There are also other models you might want to consider, if you can/want.

Massey Ferguson 1526
LS XJ2025
Branson 2510h -I almost got of those, it has every single feature you want in a tractor this size.
Yanmar SA324/SA424
TYM 234

Have fun with your research.

Do you have to stop the tractor when you shift between any of the gears or can you keep moving and shift from 1-2-3-4? How many hours have you put on your Max so far? Any issues, major, minor, or nagging?

On the Kioti website, they do not offer the CK2510 with a cab. The dealer may have a cab to install but I don't think you can say it is a factory cab. Any cab that the dealer installs is not the same fit and finish as a true factory cab. It may be a great cab the dealer installs but that model and size tractor cannot be ordered with a factory cab.

Was told by my dealer on the CK2510 the cab is a factory cab but is a dealer installed option. Now whether the factory installs it better than the dealer I dont know. But it is a factory cab.

Yes, you are supposed to let the tractor stop to shift between gears (1-2-3-4), ranges (Lo, HI) and Forward/Reverse.
But from 1-2-3 I'm able to shift kind-a on the fly but at low speed.
Once you get the hang of it you will find your best combination for every task, for example for regular grapple and loader work I do L3 to load and H2 or H3 to transport.
They don't stall like a car, and definitely wont stall like an HST.

I have put over 44 hours on mine, 94hrs total, the only issue I had was related to a hydraulic line, which was a known defect.
I'm ready to do the 100hrs maintenance.

No complaints no issues.
Mahindra-Mitsubishi are great tractors.

It is considered a "Field Option Cab", meaning that it is provided by the manufacturer but installed in the field by the dealer. Kioti tends to offer quite a bit of options for it's tractors in this manner. That lets the dealer stock a run of the mill model and then upgrade it to meet a particular buyer's needs.

Yeah, I don't want to get caught up in terminology. My point is just that a dealer installed cab no matter what they call it is not like a factory installed cab. The way the coolant for the A/C is run, the heating, the fit, etc. Like I said though, it might be a great cab.

No I got you. AC isnt in the 2510 though only the 3510. Only model that I have found that even offers AC under 30hp has been the Kubota 2650. So really have to get to the 32hp and up depending on brand. Cab is the same just a matter if you trust dealers to put it on or not, doesnt seem like rocket science. End of the day you want a cab on something under 30 hp nobody except Kubota is offering a factory install, so it is what it is.

Yes, that is one reason I was looking at the 2650 but decided I wanted a larger frame size.

Yeah the 2650 is a nice machine but ive moved on because of cost can get the Kioti 3510 for the same price among other brands.

I test drove both tractors the other day but I don't think it was a fair fight. The Kioti had filled tires and BH attached and these along with the additional 400+ native weight of the Kioti made it feel much more planted than the Max26. Also, I was surprised that the axle tubes coming out of the running gear of the Max were much longer whereas on the Kioti the running gear casting sticks out 6-8 inches towards each wheel to the axle tubes are much shorter. I'm still confused as to how the Max26 has another 300 pound loader lift capacity than the Kioti. Just doesn't make sense. The other thing I notice too was the Max26 treadle pedal fulcrum sticks up a couple inches higher then the 2510 and I thought the latter was more natural for my foot. And lastly, the sales rep said the engine and trans was Mitsubishi on the Max but the running gear was another company he couldn't name from Korea. I assumed the whole drive train was built by Mitsubishi but seems like not. The Kioti drive train is 100% Daedong I was told. Both were sales people and they're not always the most knowledgeable on particulars sometimes.

So anyway, I'm still considering both but probably leaning towards the Kioti at the moment.
