How is the HST holding up on Mahindra 40-50 hp tractors?

Do you owners feel that you have a "quality" piece of equipment?

Will they have good resale value?

Are they reliable?

Sorry for all of the questions but I am in the market for a new tractor and looking online, they sure look hard to beat for the price. I have a Mahindra dealer (Tatum motors in Anderson, MO) about 50 miles from me and I plan on driving to the dealer to see them in person in a week or so.

Thanks, Sam

The 40 and 50 HP Mahindra hydo's are new to the market, so there isn't any track record yet. But the transmission is made by Eaton which has a very good track record, so I see no problems. The hydro at the dealer show operated very nicely. They are awsome tractors.

How much price diff are you seeing between the Mahindra and Kubota in your area? Around here it was less than 2K diff. I was considering a Mahindra but Kubota's financing and the dealer made the difference for me. Now if Mahindra had been 5K lower I would probably had a much harder time going with Kubota.

John, I am looking at the Kubota's today (10-15-2010) and will look at the Mahindra's next SAT afternoon, in Anderson, MO. It will be nice to see the Mahindra line in person!
