Mahindra 7010

Have a friend with a Mahindra 7010 with a bad motor. Does anyone know of a used motor, one that's been in a fire, or a rebuildable block.

Or any info on repowering with a different motor.

Couldn't you replace with one of the Deere motors they put in the TYM versions?
Look for a salvage 7520
If I might ask, what happened to cause the bad motor? Can it not be rebuilt?

I wasn't there when it happened, but ether was involved.
Are you saying a TYM 7520? Did John Deere put them in any construction equipment?

TYM built the 7010 for Mahindra. It had the same motor that a Mahindra 7520 has. TYM also built the same tractor for Montana using a JD engine. Or the TYM model also had a John Deere engine in it. Sorry but I don't know If JD had that engine in any construction equipment.
