Mahindra 5525 Hydraulic Fluid Check?

Please forgive this embarrassing question, but the owner's manual just isn't clear to me. Where does one check the hydraulic fluid level on the 5525? There is a red topped plastic cap just behind the driver's seat on the right above the PTO labeled "OIL" and "Misseli" on it. It has no dipstick. Looks like it's in the right place, though.
(1) Where does one check hydraulic fluid?
(2) How does one check hydraulic fluid?
(3) What fluid do I add (from Tractor Supply, if possible)

Hello, I am not familiar with your model. But does it have a sight glass on the left side of the pto?

Nope- no sight glass that I could find.... ???

1: If it doesn't have a dipstick, it will have a sight glass; mine in on the rear, down low, and essentially impossible to see with the backhoe attached!
2: I check mine with all cylinders at about halfway extended, so I don't go too high when they are lowered and more oil is in the gear case (once the level goes above the sight glass, you cannot tell how much fluid is in there!)
3: Tractor Supply has a couple of types of "universal tractor fluid"; I use the stuff labelled "premium".

Ok, figured it out. Turns out that on the 5525 the hydraulic fluid is checked by unscrewing a small bolt just to the right of the gear selector. It has a long dip stick attached and is very difficult to read. There is no label on this bolt, but it is painted red.
