There may be a drain hole on the bottom of the front trans case with a plug in it. Or an inspection plate on the side that will allow you to at least peek in.
Thank you for the prompt response. If there is a drain hole with a plug in it does that mean it normally would have some fluid in it? A transmission would seem to have fluid, a dry clutch not.
One thing I had forgotten. I have a heavy steel skid protection plate under the tractor to provide some protection there. Hopefully I will be able to see well enough or get access into the same without dropping the plate.
I have done that before but it is a heavy and difficult.

Can you take a stiff wire with a small dauber on the end and stick it in the inspection plate.
It will tell you if there's fluid in there, also it could be squirting it out on the soil when you use it and you cant see it.
Also you can put a red colored dye in the trans oil and that would tell you if its getting in the engine oil and it makes it easier to see a leak..
