Mahindra 3316 HST Turbo engine failure at 500 hours

The Mitsubishi diesel in the 3316 HST Turbo seized up at 500 hours. The tractor has been sitting at the dealer for nine months and they claim to be unable to get parts from Mahindra to rebuild the motor. Has anyone had any experience with a motor malfunctioning with such low hours? Can anyone offer any advice on how to get some kind of help from Mahindra?

did you ever get your tractor fixed? I have a 3316 with a good motor, however, the rear diff and 4x4 went out.

I am looking for a way to fix it.

That's just a Mitsubishi S3L3 motor. Rebuild kits are available from other sources - even on Amazon and eBay! Tell your dealer to try harder. Or maybe bring the engine to an independent shop for the rebuild. You might have to call around a bit but considering how long it's been sitting, it's probably worth your time.
