My dealer has a New 2007, 2wd, canopy, sun faded, M95s on his lot for sale and is asking $25K.

Does anyone know if this is a good price or not?

Hey Stu: Looks like the 95s is replaced with the newer 96s model, so the "build your own" feature on the K corp. site is not there. For the 96s 2wd (w/fels) it's around 38.3 K (around 3+k more than my 4wd 8540 a while back)......so your dealer's price looks to be good. What about the warranty if it's been sitting a long time? Are you thinking of upgrading? Nice machine.....would have to sit and think, though, with only a 2wd model....would be great in flat lands pulling hd stuff... I'd definitely ballast the rears w/2wd . bb

Bubba,

From what I understand the warranty starts when it's purchased so I would be ok there. Not looking to trade/upgrade but wanted to look at something to pull a 15' BH with and 2wd is fairly common around here with the flat lands in this area. I would not need a loader, and I forgot to mention the tractor has about 7 front weights on it now.....not sure what each of them weigh.....on my M5040 they are 109lbs each. Without a lodaer and jut pulling a 15' bh I think I can keep from loading the rears.

I am going to think about it for awhile.... and we will see.

Std: sounds like you got it figured. Probably right about the weights. Strictly in terms of machinery alone, 25K and the 95s (imho) is a h** of a lot more machinery for your money than many of the grand L's out there that cost more (sorry you guys, just had to say it....just look at the specs)......but bottom line....a new purchase should be only justified to meet a certain need or solve a problem.....now do I always follow that rationale? of course not, but I try. good luck, the 95s is awesome. bb
