M7240 PTO speed adjustable?

I have a Rhino bat-wing rotary clipper, which requires a 6-spline, 540 RPM PTO drive. A friend with a Case-IH M7240 tractor wants to use the Rhino. Is there a way to change the PTO on his tractor from 1000 RPM to 540? I assume someone manufactures an adapter to couple the mower shaft to his PTO -- or do they? Any info will be appreciated.

THose tractors only came with 1000 rpm shafts, the big thing is the diameter being 1 3/8 or 1 3/4.

Adapters are available at most dealers.
