M7060 FUEL SYSTEM PROBLEMS

First it was suction control valve now replacing clogged injectors. Does anybody know of a 5 micron spin fuel filter to replace the Kubota. Nobody can tell me the rating on the kubota.

Anybody done a add-on

On my L4060 I replaced the OEM strainer / water separator with a Racor 215 R2 filter / separator. It's a 2 micron filter in the primary position (not ideal), but it has a large capacity. I also installed a Racor vacuum gauge on the filter to keep an eye on the filter condition. So far after 200 hours the vacuum hasn't significantly increased.
I left the OEM spin on final filter in place.

I had the same thing happen on my M126X. Terribly expensive injectors.

Got Racor clones (bases) with Racor filters on both my Kubota's. No vacuum gage, I just watch the clear sediment bowl on the bottom of the filters. Nothing ever gets past the Racor.

Probably better to leave the OEM strainer / separator in place, and add the Racor where you plan. The OEM can catch the large debris and take some unnecessary load off the Racor.
Can't remember why I removed the strainer, but worse case for me is that I go through more Racor filters, which hasn't happened yet.

I run the Amazon, Chinese copy of the Racor base with Racor filters between the suction side of the right saddle tank and the primary spin on filter. It's an EXACT copy of the Racor for about 1/4the price.

also insure your fuel supplier provides good quality product. seems as if moisture & particulate add headaches to the tier 4 setup regards

Lucky you. I've never had injector issues (or any major issues for that matter) with either of my M's.

While I don't have the restriction gauge on mine (I will get it), I do have the optional bowl heater installed. Mounted both of mine on the loader upright which makes the readily accessable but out of harm's way.
