I am picking up a new M6040, loaded R1's, FEL, next week under the 0% for 60mo deal. I tried to find an M7040 with the old pricing and 0% for 60mo deal but could not locate one.
aside from the few hp and limited slip in the 7040, the 2 models are almost identical. you made a wise choice in going with the M series. IMHO the heavy duty features of the M series far outweigh the frills of the grand L models without a lot of price difference. am sure it will fit your needs like a glove bb
Thanks. We have approx 25 acres used for a veg/fruit farm. The M is going to be used for tillage, bed forming, and mulch laying.
I don't think I'll need to do any haying with it so I was willing to take the M6040 instead of the M7040 especially for the $5500 difference between the two in our area.
you made the right choice with that price difference, the price increment increase between those models is usually 1.5K in high volume areas. sounds perfect for your application, and it could probably handle a modest sized bailer. bb
