How does it operate? Mine is a push button. If I ad one of those claws can I pick up a roll bale? After you push close button what keeps pressure on it. What other attachments do people use up front?

By claws I assume you mean a grapple of some sort. Once you close the jaws, if you need to maintain constant pressure on the object you have to hold down the button. I think some grapples have double check valves or non-return valves to maintain constant pressure, but that might be only for bale grapples or timber grapples. Either way, if you're only going to pick up round bales there are purpose built spears and even round bail grapples for that.

As far a other attachments go...you can run harley rakes, rock hounds, snow throwers, 4-in-1 buckets, flamethrowers ;) etc.

push the button and it puts pressure on one line and put the other to tank, push other and just the oposite. when you let off button it holds the pressure in the line which keeps the implement from moving after you let off the button.

So the button is an on and off. Does it slam a grapple shut because there is no proportional lever?
