M5030SU Pump

I changed the filter on my hyd system a few weeks ago and it worked fine after that when I moved several round bales. But this week the FEL and 3pt hitch are moving in pulses and very slow. It is a lot colder but I have used it in a much colder weather in the past and have not had this problem. Just incase it is a pump I tried to look one up and at Coleman parts:

My questions are does this sound like a pump problem or just air in the system and is a rebuild a good solution if it is the pump? Does anyone know of replacement pumps (maybe even at a lower price)?

Install a hyd gage in the hyd system and do some trouble shooting.

Pulsing sounds like low on fluid or air in system.

Check the hyd fluid level and for air bubbles in tank.

Maybe suction leak.

Checked fluid level and it is good. I thought it might be air in system after filter change but it took a little while to show up. I will check for suction problems. Thanks.

Look at the hyd fluid in the tank before you start the tractor. After the tractor is warmed up and you have worked the hyd some, look in the tank and check for bubbles. A flash light will help you see better.

Suction side is your most likely cause.

Replace the suction tube, any rubber fittings, and tighten the clamps.

JJ was right there was a leak in the connecting hose in the suction line just before the filter. I couldn't find it until it got bad enough to leak when sitting. I had to have my glasses on to see the tiny bubbles on the dip stick. I have both hoses on order from local Kubota dealer. Thanks JJ.
