Buying Advice M135X front suspension

Does anyone have a new Kubota M135X with the front suspension? Driving around the dealership doesn't really give me a feel for what it would be like going across a hay field at 15mph. Just curious if it makes a difference.

It does make a noticable difference, it is also expensive. Suspended front axles are also offere by Deere and CNH, you may find owners of their products with experiences as well.

I would like to see this become more the norm on tractors to make field work a little less punishing as long as it's reasonably reliable.

We have a M135X with front suspension... It helps a lot! When ever you drop and implement on the ground and it kind of lifts the back tires up... The front suspension will go down because of that and then they will raise up for ultra comfort. They are very nice and powerful machines I would recommend getting the suspension.

Looks like the JCB Fast Tracs have available active front suspension, too.
I heard a rumor Kubota is introducing 150+ HP tractors and they'll be sub-contracted out to another tractor manufacturer!

its been more than a rumor for a long time that Kubota is comming with a bigger tractor, however I'd be floored if it was subcontracted. They don't really do that.

suspended front axles are not anything unique, most companies offer them.

I have one and it's great. I can tell a huge difference from my other tractors especially when I exhibit bad judgement and do something stupid like drive into a hole. I am convinced it saved my front end at least twice. However, everyone is different and I'm sure there are some people that might feel differently.

Kubota has announced they are searching for somebody to partner with to supply larger tractors branded Kubota so the surprise will be if they don't get it done. The Kubota executive quoted said it is not reasonable for them to develop large ag tractors but many (how about all) of the large ag tractor makers already procure their CUT's from other makers so it would be reasonable for Kubota to enter into such a partnership. It's like the construction industry saying you would never see a Kubota engine in a Caterpillar and now Kubota engines are going into a major portion of Cat's product line.
