I found a really good deal on a new m9540 but it was delivered to the dealer late in 2009 and they have not sold it so it has sat at the dealer for about 16 months. It only has 1 hour on the clock so it has not been used. I have also checked with another dealer and they have 2011 models in stock but they are considerably more money. I know the 2009 would be Tier II and the 2011 would be Tier III. Other than that obvious difference are there any significant changes between 2009 and 2011 that would be worth $3k or more in price difference?

if you can get a good deal on the 2009 M9540 id buy it over a new 1.because youll save $5000 or more.

Same thought - the savings are worth more than what the differences are if you are comparing apples to apples ie: same feature set.
